When you die, you aren’t truly dead, people will remember you, they will miss you, and what you did to them or to the world will have an impact, small or big it doesn’t matter, you will leave a mark anyways
The only time where you are truly dead, is when nobody remembers you, or how you were like, there may be photos or paintings of you, but if their perception of how you were like before is wrong, then nobody will know who you truly are, and thus, you are dead.
