No, farming Scythes, there was a type of thing called a War Scythe though they had no components similar to an average sythe and looked more like a cresent bladed spear

You’re idea, like Foxinator said, is very generic though with some work we can fix that.
Okay, so you said he had ‘red floating rings’. Maybe he’s a psychic, using telekinesis to make ruby rings float around. If he’s a psychic, he’d probably wear a cloak of sorts, maybe a purple one with gold trimming and another layer beneath it which is black. We could also have him wear a cloth headband over his eyes with symbols and runes imprinted on it. As a weapon, he could use the floating red rings as well as manipulating his surroundings while his body need not get harmed.
So ChaosBreaker, how’s it sound?
