Kraken’s Guile

After realizing water based powers wouldn’t work because Bariks is a space pirate, I started thinking of…substitutes. I began to wonder “what is space matter made of” and google supplied me with the hopefully correct explanation of:

“Space is made of roughly 28% dark matter, and 72% dark energy.” Interesting. Though further searching I also got this (very helpful) snippet: “Dark Energy is a hypothetical form of energy that exerts a negative, repulsive pressure, behaving like the opposite of gravity.”

So with that, I present Bariks’s main (if not only) weapon: Kraken’s Guile. This can manipulate the space around his ship, and send violent waves of dark energy towards his foes. The weapon itself can be used as a spear, though it’s preferred form is what makes it so deadly.

Just in case you couldn’t tell by the name and appearance the blades resemble spiked tentacles
