ProgressAlright, so far the server’s crossplay is confirmed to work, we have a working tpa system, a 2/5 complete hub with spawn protection, and two tester requests (I asked two different users if they want to be a tester, waiting for an answer).
I still need to add a shop, implement any suggestions you guys may have [if you have a suggestion for this server (a feature which I have not mentioned is in), please tell me in the comments], and I need to finish the hub. I also need to work on setting up the rules for the server as well.
Also testers, if you accept your job as a tester, (I sent comments to them asking them if they want to be testers, that why I didn’t mention them in this post) if you have any performance issues that you normally don’t have when playing minecraft, tell me. I might have to get lighter weight plug-ins than I have, although they aren’t really that big to begin with.
It may take a little bit to join the server, but that is just because it is starting up.

Also just to clarify this will just be survival server,
Also, should I make it so I respawn the Ender dragon every time a person first goes to the end so everyone has a chance to beat the game without going through the hassle of respawning it themselves, or should I not, so all the users have to respawn it themselves if it was already defeated?
Alright, we have one confirmed tester, infiniteguess.
I’ll ping you infiniteguess when I need something tested, (doesn’t need to be done the moment the ping is received, just whenever you feel like it)
Same for the second tester if he accepts
Just watched lemon’s video he made for his realm: https://youtu.be/IFfgh18NTi0
The shop is going to be similar to his, and I’m going to have a system familiar to the ferry thing, where yoy can get teleported to major or minor locations formed in the server for a fee.
Although I know how I’m going to the shop, I still don’t know how I’m going to make the economy balanced.
I’m having ptsd from that damn sn bedrock server
What was wrong with it?
And are you referring to Lemon’s old realm or was there another server I didn’t know about?
Back in the day, before lemon’s, there before I even had admin on the site… Sn had an official Minecraft server.
It was bedrock due to cross play and majority of users being mobile users. As time passed, people started using hacks, grief etc. So I became an admin there to deal with these stuff since Ralph trusted me enough.
So naturally you’d think, just ban them. Things took a drastic turn though as it seemed like you can’t do that on Bedrock.
I ended up trying to make an improvised ban system that relied on teleporting user rapidly between dimensions to softlock their game on loading screen. While that worked out, there were still other issues. People mining bedrock, barrier blocks, making illegal enchants, flying etc.
Shit was wack, as it was a back and forth battle with me trying to figure out command blocks on the go.
Griefing? Put up a whitelist that makes others go into adventure mode near it.
People then build above the affected area and bombed it with TNT from the sky. So I had to make a trigger to destroy any TNT in the region.
Then withers started flooding the spawn. Same as TNT.
Even made karma system to keep track who might be Griefing by checking anyone near these events. And also some “unban all” button as bait in case someone went into command block room.
Ofc someone pressed it, no idea who though because when I checked it just said “offline user” instead of the name so that’s great.
But I bet it was u @malono
ngl i didn’t know the server was around that long where you were implementing ban systems and shit lmao
in my head that server lasted 5 days and was just the equivalent of shitposting
Do I get paid for this
Well luckily this server, while supporting bedrock users, uses java commands due to being a java server, so I can use the ban command.
So hopefully I don’t meet the same fate as that server.
I’d still recommend checking if banning works via server console on your own account that’s what I did lmfao.
Anti-cheat plugins can also be neat if it is supported.
Ok, thanks for the advice
Anti-cheat plug-ins are a good idea, I’ll see if there are any ones that work with geyser.
Edit: It turns out a couple do!
