Would is a modal verb, like might, can, will, may, etc. Those imply varying levels of certainty, levels of which I’m sure you can guage just from hearing them.
Would in this context implies a level of certainty that’s pretty confident. It’s not as absolute as something like will, but it’s up there.
In any case, it will be fun to see it happen and I will be there during the journey and to see the end result
