I read plenty of them when I was a kid, but now I don’t read books.
literally me, i gotta say i read a lot as a kid
probably why i was always able to read decently quickly compared to my classmates who all always sounded like they were in the middle of a fucking Hooked On Phonics program

I swear to god in the hundreds of kids at my school only like 5 of us could read like human beings
not to go full boomer but i can only imagine its worse nowadays with all the text lingo and acronyms
or maybe its better?…because kids are reading texts constantly all day
