    Question of the day

What is something you always wanted to have in a fictional story given you were writing one?

          In all honesty

Hollow earth , or at least adjacent world aspects

That sounds pretty dope, any films with the hollow Earth premise were always bangers imo so it’ll be cool to see what you will do with it.

    • I’d want at least one character to represent something

Like maybe representing the wacky nature of cartoons or representing some sort of moral dilemma or maybe being the physical embodiment of toxicity and the negativity of not only the internet but also humanity in general and how destructive their communities can become when left unchecked

in all seriousness, with ouroboros i’ve always wanted characters you could connect to. I didn’t want simple characters with no morals, no arc or anything so I always devote the most time to making them perfect in all their imperfect ways. like louise, sure she’s the main character but she’s also really messed up

I guess, I kind of feel like with things like that though it’s like saying ‘ I want to write a good story ‘, like yeah of course but that’s a given right?

For me personally I think a good story will provide enough of a twist and surprise to its viewers anyway. With the progress on the SNU each day with new ideas etc I’m looking forward to getting the ball rolling. The narrative and world-building is going to be huge, not necessarily in a literal fictional scaling way but in a ‘holy crap this is epic’ kind of ordeal.

The point I was trying to make is that I think too many writers don’t put enough into their stories or either I’m just not reading enough of them lol.

    • Characters that actually act like humans.
Tho this is more so aimed at rom-com animes and some other things.
But I think it still applies to most stuff.
