𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 – 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗚𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗮 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗼𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝟮𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝟯𝘀

InfiniteGuess decided to tap into an alternate style of animation in this short fight scene where we see the default Stickfigure throwing a kick and a few other moves. The style takes on what can only be described as animating on 2’s and 3’s which is the process of doubling or tripling frames in an effective coordinated way to save budget, reduce workload and accentuate specific movements, said process has been used in animation for a long time and is a nice sight to behold in an animation with such a typically bold explosive style.

Whether this style is permanent or temporary is relatively unknown but I hope to see it again, in one form or another.

It’s been pretty sweet seeing such a staple technique of animation being utilised, you would expect to see more of these posts or even may be a little confused on why I headlined it, to answer your question simply there wasn’t a whole lot going on today so I thought I’d make that the topic of discussion.
