When it comes to weapons, would you prefer to rely on sprites, or do you still find novelty in using weapons you’ve created in SN?
Might be dependent on how important those weapons are (I.E do they belong to a random background nobody or the main character).
Might also be dependent on if you can actually make weapons at all 💀Sprite Weapons or Node Weapons?

In my humble opinion, I prefer that the weapons made with sprites is more easy to move than one made with stickfigure.
It depends on the actual figure maker, as in my opinion, stickfigure weapons are actually easier to move than sprites if made efficiently. For example, you would have the main node on the handle and the second node on the barrel. This would make rotation extremely easy and joining the figure to the hands of the user possible.
With sprites, it might just be me, but I think turning an image on a axis is more troublesome and intricate than stickfigures
Keep in mind that importing images for sprites won’t solve all of your issues if the styles clash too much. The default stickfigure, or your own OC, holding a realistic AK-47 is an amusing idea, but it’s not practical in the long run if the styles fundamentally don’t work together.
If you’re capable of drawing your own sprites, then all the more power to you, but not everyone has that capability
In my heavily biased opinion
Nodes > Sprites
1: Nodes are more easily customizable to the exact way you want them, a unique weapon (unless you want to heavily use photoshop, or you having a drawing) can only really be made in SN.
2: Drawings, Images and Photoshop (especially using realistic items) will clash very heavily with nigh any fig, just because they have no essence of SN in them. Ultimately, they’d look kinda out of place
i like uhhhh i like figures more than just .pngs
