– A (fictional) IFV Crewman, 1991, on the topic of the MBT-155 ‘Crusader’.Made a new tank and that little paragraph of lore. This one’s a M1 Abrams/M1 CATTB sort of tank with a 155mm main gun. I call it the MBT-155 Crusader. It would be in American Service from the Late 1980s to the Modern Day. I don’t really have a lot of lore for it otherwise but I’ll make variants and maybe if a few of you guys want a personalized one, I’ll do custom inscriptions on a variant of your choice (I’ll make another post about that soon, so don’t ask for custom inscriptions just yet.)

Thermal tracker or forceshield in front
Forcefield seems unrealistic, but an APS (Active Protection System) unit would be pretty close. Also it’d have thermal imaging already since it’s an 80s US MBT. They all had thermal imaging capabilities.

You’re welcome. Also thanks for the idea of adding APS to my tank, I almost forgot admittedly. I’ll make like an enhanced version with a CITV (A type of sight for the commander), ability to mount APS, and other stuff like that.
