Anyone wanna make top-down figures with me? I’m really good with vehicles, but less so with guns and people. So I’m thinking if I work with someone else, it’ll end up much better.
+ I have a general idea for a top-down animation. I’ll share it (if anyone’s interested that is, of course).
@demonic Sorry for the ping, but I’d like to ask if you’d be interested in assisting. My idea is based in the Late Cold War, by the way. If (almost) Modern isn’t fun to you, you are free to decline.
Replying to:WarlockSure, I can help, I just don't have a very consistent rate
Oh, that’s fine. I’m not very consistent with making figures either.
Also let me summarize the idea I have real quick.
So, it’s the Late 80s. Chernobyl in this universe is not being used much as a nuclear reactor, and is more a testing site for whatever the hell top secret weapons the Red Army wants to try out. A high-ranking Soviet Scientist shows up there one day with a bio weapon which he believes could “put an end to American Aggression” and pacify the West in a time of need. The bio weapon is a genetically changed virus, which when entering the human body, acts like that fungus that turns those ants into zombies, yes, it’s going that route. A few days later, because of no safety protocols being set up for such an experimental bio weapon, the scientist comes down with a case of it, and starts attacking his colleagues. The virus quickly spreads and the Red Army’s reserve is deployed to stall the Zombies until more skilled units can arrive and do a clean up mission. The Soviets are also simultaneously trying to stop news from escaping the Chernobyl area. So they’re fighting two wars in a way. One against information escaping, and one against bloodthirsty infected.
Idk it sounds generic but it could be pretty cool, never really seen anything with Zombies VS Soviets before.

Alright sounds cool. I don’t know anything about Soviet technology but I can definitely help a bit.
I think there’s a Wikipedia page dedicated entirely to the Soviet equipment at the end of the Cold War
