    • Beliefs are diverse and we should strive to respect one another’s beliefs despite the fact we disagree.

      That being said…

I can actually see the phone be made if I so please, see the evidence it was made, see it out together etc.
      I can’t do that for the universe/people.
There is no proof one way or another of whatever belief one may hold…so why bother discussing? Let’s just love one another and live the best life we can regardless of what may come after or what came before.

Am respectful for what you said but alot of peoples hate islam and they try to brainwash peoples to make them think thag it’s a religion of bad deeds and those stuffs but it’s actualy deffrent it’s the definition of peace and love and tolerance we respect all the religions

I don’t see why bad actors in a religion negate what the religion may be teaching, since there’s horrible people in every religion, it’s inevitable.

Most religions teach being a good person and such so that’s just a net positive really

When it comes to religion, having faith is one of the fundamentals.

Faith is, according to Oxford, a “strong belief in God or in the doctrines of a religion, based on spiritual apprehension rather than proof.”
Though there isn’t something right before your eyes giving you proof that there is a God, that doesn’t necessarily mean there isn’t one.

For example, there isn’t concrete evidence alien life exists, but many people agree it is possible on some other far-off planet or moon for it to exist or have existed, even if just in the microscopic level. Scientists point towards probabilities and exoplanets in other solar systems within their star’s habitable zone. This is the same way people of a religion point towards their religious writings, events in history, and other phenomena in the world. There are some people who say “I need to see it to believe it” while others have faith in their beliefs. That’s ultimately the difference between those who are religious and non-religious.

Well I mean we can just open up somebody’s skull and peak inside but I get what you mean. Even though something is not immediately infront of you you can still believe it exists.

You are correct about this, faith is a important part of many religions
Personally speaking I have many other reasons for not believing but I won’t get into them

Just respect one another that’s what I say

          To add on more though,
I personally believe aliens exist somewhere out there given the fact that there is evidence of evolution on earth and other studies done on life and how diverse life is and how it can grow in just any many ways (mussels can make sugar(food) with hydrothermal vents!)

Comparatively to religion I don’t see much evidence pointing to a creator that couldn’t be explained by xyz reasoning that isn’t a creator
Although I don’t believe one way or another…none of it makes much sense if you get into the nit and gritty…

Just the way I see it personally, but faith is a important part of any belief and I can respect those who hold it

    • My time has come

So, I am an atheist, won’t get into reasons why because it’s not really necessary.

To address this video and nothing more, this guy’s logic is flawed. Wheras no, I did not see that phone get created, I know it was created by man (or more likely, child). Machines are man made, artificial and not at all natural. They exist from ingenuity of the human race, and mined materials we found in Earth. It’s creator doesn’t need to be seen for me to belive that it has one because it can only be made by another person, because it is artificial. Humans, on the other hand, are not artificial. They are natural beings. Beings that have evolved for millions of years from different organisms to where we are now. It’s like comparing apples to oranges

        Thanks for your respond
He took the phone as an exemple to show that a creator made it which is a human but humans are more complex than phones alot,it’s cannot be a coincidence (the creation of human) there is someone wiser than all of us made us.
        Thanks for reading again

Well, I don’t think it’s coincidence per se, I just think over time evolution will make more complex things, mainly because evolution is the development and diversification of things. As development happens, things grow, and get more complex, and as diversification happens, it separates us all from different forms of life, making us even more complex. That’s my belief, anyway
