Also @ralph. Why didn’t you make pro an in app purchase? Was it a marketing tactic so people didn’t see the (in app purchases) thing and dismiss the app, or what?

didn’t really think about it
at the time, it wasn’t a big deal to have 2 apps bc SN and SN Pro shared the same files so it was easy to swap between them
but also, to have an IAP, that means the SN app has to ship with all the functionality included in the code, but behind a paywall basically
easy to crack for hackers and shit to make all versions of SN into the Pro version-
