but why? What do you mean by “can’t”? What happens exactly
on my Android devices, I just download the file
it downloads, goes into my /download/ folder
I then open SN
go to list
it’s there
A message appears saying: ‘Your device cannot download this file.’ There’s no way I can download it.

just curious, are you using the official Gmail app, not whatever generic “mail” app comes with your device?
