Maybe more shading and layering to terrain to make things pop more and appear more 3D.
The characters can remain simplistic and the style with that is beautiful but having a nice clear background and whatnot, throwing in some parallax etc will really bring it all together. When we consider that this is a scene with a lot going on, a war zone so to speak we’d expect it’d be relatively troubling to keep up with all the details.
So far I’m really liking it though, I appreciate how your animations are more classic and not so ‘ OC battle ‘ based.

Thank you, I get what you are saying and I’ll work on adding more background assets to the following scenes. Though I am not experienced with parallax, I can definitely spice up the amount of action and intensity of the animation to give it a more urban warfare large-scale battle feel.
