but the order of the speech bubbles is sometimes confusing and overwhelming
most people expect top/left thing to be read first, but in this case it seems its not supposed to be
its kinda like you gotta figure out the diagram of speech bubbles first and the ordering, then read them (and as a second point – there’s a bit too much to read – mayhaps let the art do more of the “talking”)
again, i don’t do the comic book thing, so this may just be normal

I agree, something some comic book writers do is smoosh dialogue bubbles together so it’s still the separate-looking elliptical shapes except they merge a bit to show there is more being said and also potentially to change topics for each ‘seperate’ bubble.
