So I saw a post about Godzilla and I just immediately thought of Noriyoshi Ohrai, the artist behind the Heisei era’s posters ( and the Empire Strikes Back poster )
His art is something else, that poster for the Return of Godzilla is just mesmerizing with those red and orange gradients, it looks straight up apocalyptic and I like that a lot.

What the hell happened to artistic posters that capture your imagination ? Or hell, even posters that look original or unique ? Scarface’s movie poster may look a bit plain, but it is instantly recognizable, I can’t say the same for modern movie posters though.
