So uh, short story that is free to be animated

Elle woke up in a cold sweat scared of the nightmare she woke up from. She was still in her small house, and not dead. So she got up, Remembering That it was a weekend, she decided to go get a pumpkin and make a Sweet pumpkin pie

. Her mom was at work so Elle went to the counter and put down a pumpkin that still smelled like the pumpkin patch, and had a bumpy texture like a toad. She then grabbed a knife. She Remembers the time she first cut open a pumpkin, and small bits of smoke coming out. She thought that was normal, so she got the knife closer to the pumpkin, but the closer the knife got to the pumpkin, the brighter it glowed.

She was confused on why that was happening, but she started carving into the pumpkin, making an incision from the top. Then, smoke started coming out, Elle still thought it as normal, but then the pumpkin shook once, then twice, so she immediately afterwards went to the door with the pumpkin, and threw it out knowing something was wrong.

Then it started to carve a jack o’lantern itself. First the eyes, then the nose, and finally the mouth. She was Paralyzed with fear. Then much more smoke came out, engulfing the pumpkin. The smoke Next formed a humanoid figure wearing a Robe and a mask that materialized out of thin air, colored like a candy corn.

Elle picked up the phone and called Her neighbor Jake. She cried for help after he picked up, and then her phone broke. She looked outside to see the Monster gone, then she looked behind her, and there it was, Holding the broken cable of the phone. Laughing in a mischievous, yet evil, voice.

Elle realized that it was there and ran upstairs to her room, she was so scared she almost tripped on the stairs, the spirit easily going up the stairs behind her. She then locked her bedroom door. She then remembered that this moment was in her dream. She then saw outside Jake, running in with a shovel. The smoke that came from the pumpkin was seeping in from the bottom of the door. She was falling unconscious, she heard a thump of the ghost. And then fell back asleep, about to go into a nightmare.
