@ralph each time I backpage at all on my browser (Safari) to go to the post I was at after getting the URL for the post I’m on, it refreshes the whole page and either scrolls me to the very top or somewhere random.
Not sure what’s happening but it is really tedious having to scroll all the way back down over and over again for one post only to repeat the cycle.

Autocorrect messing me up
‘At all’ what.
I’m basically saying as I go to browse through activity to get the ‘linked posts’ I have to get the link for the posts so I click the little date on the post, grab the URL after getting transported to the post directly and then as I go to go back ‘backpage’ and continue where I left off, the whole page refreshes and I have to scroll all the way to where I left off.
Thing is I’m not sure if it’s even anything on your end but in terms of the site logs, I feel it could be stunted significantly maybe to the point of cancelling a supposed ‘Site Log 2024’.
oh i get it, because you’re scrolling down to “load more” page 1, 2, 3 etc…so when you go back it’s back at page 1
that’s some deep pagination bullshit that buddypress does and normally cookies/backing to a page doesn’t store that “continuously-loaded” stuff
im sure its fixable but that’s well over my expertise to gut it and fix that, sorry
anyway, to remedy that, just long-press and open the date-links in a new tab (or copy them) – that’d work right?
