ajr is genuinely the worst band of all time. everything they make is overblown, over-compressed, “QuIrKy” theatercore garbage trying way too hard to both be experimental and homogenous pop at the same time and failing at both. it’s been over a decade since their debut and in that time they’ve made nothing good, or even listenable.
some of their songs are passable, i can see why theyre popular
byt thirsty is just absolute swamp ass like how ddid they release that and think people would like it
personally i find everything they’ve made extremely unlistenable, but thirsty is definitely among the absolute worst songs ive ever heard. why were they like “you know what, this song isn’t annoying enough yet, let’s add some fucking yodeling for no reason”
