Okay harry, yeah the green guy who jumped into a bucket of gradients is sort of better than the red guy, but theyre still the same. Only difference added is that he’s drenched in gradients, which sometimes, gradient’s doesnt help improve the look of them.
But you’re learning some things, which i recommend you to keep trying, you have made some sort of improvements, it’s not like OMG YOU CHANGED! But you are making progress, keep trying out some new things and play with the tools handed to you.
Following on from Helmet, gradients can work but it depends how you use them, applying them to every part or entire parts rarely works not to mention the colour options are quite plain.
All in all it’s just a learning thing as Helmet spoke about, the more you practice and keep going eventually you’ll get to a point in which you’re satisfied with your work.
