How did you find out about Sticknodes and why did you join the site?
I was looking for another animating app, but then I found sticknodes. I didnβt really use it that much since I didnβt realize I could get more sticks from the site
I joined the site like 5 months after I got the app
I found it on release year by accident while searching for Stickfigure games as an 8 year old. Didnt know how to use it, deleted it, yatta yatta After that, it was one of the few things i could use on my school ipad (i had nothing else in middle school) and i remembered it vaguely from like 3-4 years ago, and i joined the site to share my things and because i wanted to talk to people, but dont scroll back that far cuz i was cringe
was looking for toontastic on the app store (couldnt find it)
That app was the best
i was into making dbz/naruto animations back then and i first discovered “Draw Cartoons 2” in 2020 since it was simpler, then i discovered Sticknodes and tried it but it was too complex for me at the time and as the shy person i was, i was too scared to join the community just yet and just stuck to DC2, and even “stole” some sticks from here and pasted the parts individually onto DC2. yeah i was a fraud, mb

I found sticknodes by searching βPivotβ trying to see if there is a mobile app version similar to pivot, I was aware of the site but never really interacted with it until 2020, due to being afraid of being made fun of for sucking at animation and having a really shitty OC back then.
i think i was either looking for sumn better than dc2 or pivot or looking for ztickman games
I was bored with flipaclip and looked up animating apps, then found stick nodes. Pressing that download button was one of the best desicions of my life
It was 2016 and on my shitty iphone 4, I found a video in my recommended of some dude showcasing their sticknodes animations. I decided to check out the app, had a blast with it.
Brain short circuited and forgot the other question.
As for the site, it was sorta just because I was interested in sharing my (genuinely awful and garbage) stuff at the time.

Been using Sticknodes since version 2.3.6, so basically 2018. Joined the site 2019 on @sovietsoldier, left (Regrettably, because COVID-19 seemed to be a boom in popularity for Stick nodes), and trudged back early 2022.
I got sticknodes after I was walking down the street late one evening and I hear a whisper from behind me coming from a dark alleyway. A mysterious man in a dark trench coat was beckoning me over and said to me βI know you want to put your stick in your node, I got just the thing for youβ and flashed from his jacket physical DVD copies of sticknodes, Iβm not even- nah Iβm just playing.
I needed an animation app to animate war animations. Sticknodes was just what I needed.

I learned about Sticknodes and started using it because I saw an anime by a Thai animator and wanted to become an animator. The reasons why I joined the site are complicated, but I think it’s fun to talk to people from other countries.
Well pivot animator got boring and plus it was complicated to do good animations so I looked up apps similar to pivot animator and found this gem
