The new modernized version of the Destroyer is operating with new proton torpedoes.

The Modernized Destroyer prototype is testing its guided projectile launcher systems (torpedoes and missiles) alongside a formation of other destroyers.
Testing is rigorous and the torpedoes are undergoing interception tests, with standard model Eclipse Destroyers firing Nebula One B missiles at the proton torpedoes. And these have to dodge interceptor missiles, more tests will be carried out over the weeks.
