update nobody asked for: im only six episodes deep at the moment and i can confirm that it’s good.
i appreciate how it’s not just “haha big robot fight big monster” and it deals with the characters’ psyches more. so far it’s pretty good. i sure hope it doesn’t get any darker from here…
