here’s a discrepancy between the two steps so it almost looks like a bit of a limp
for a walk, always make these 4 frames first:
(yes im posting this image here again cry about it)
the key is to make sure they look identical, both of the “contact” and “passing” poses should be visually the same
it’s tedious to do because it can’t just be copy+paste, so its manually moving the arms and legs
so use the onion skin and really make sure these 2 pairs of frames are identical to each other
once that’s the case, it’s a matter of creatively using “Add tweened frame” + minor adjustments to keep the feet firmly planted, add a few in-betweens with this metod…maybe even add a bit of extra extreme easing at the very end of a step to show a shift of balance and weight…
Replying to:SillyWizard01ermm actually my slightly warm take is that they shouldnt be
Ngl it looks like a limp to me too.
It’s good just needs a little bit of polish, more smooth bobbing up and down if you are going to move the upper torso each step. It’s a bit abrupt giving it a more limping look
Replying to:MannyAnimsI think it looks better, more smooth
the head and torso not moving even at all makes it look still an robotic,
and the way that the arms and legs look almost identical looks weird,
especially with the arm kind of going to the same position and kind of like…
acting as if it was putting its arm into something like a case

boom perfect walk loop
ermm actually my slightly warm take is that they shouldnt be completely identical but slightly different, to make it more realistic 😀

he just needs to work on it a bit more, adding more frames and all, but all in all, it’s a good job.
