    • ill be getting this modpack because it has sodium which is like optifine, in the sense it makes minecraft run better (to my knowledge)

im only asking out of worry, of course because of what happened with tlauncher being spyware and allat, also this is my only computer and i use it daily, and id rather not lose it

i installed it just for that silly modpack for the trailer recreation, (mostly for sodium or wtvr) hoping nothing still lags

it lags more, funnily enough when playing minecraft through this modrinth launcher

ill be working on downloading stuff from curseforge, because that was what i used when i was playing on tlauncher, and that seems easier than using modrinth, because modrinth seems to want to use any launcher but the minecraft launcher

    • Tons of mods and stuff in settings you can to fix that, set a bunch of stop to low or minimal

Sodium lithium and starlight are good mods, for fabric

Then there’s stuff like Entity Culling and More Culling, Ferritecore LazyDFU, and more probably

        Oh and apparently this
        https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/modpacks/fabulously-optimized

        It’s a modpack

Yeah maybe just use this, easier to set up, does user phosphor instead of starlight but that’s the only downside really, and phosphor is still a good performance mod

whats the difference between phosphor and starlight

Heard starlight is a better performance mod, shouldn’t make too much of a difference though idk

Wait, I have an idea, let me do something rq

Actually nevermind, wouldn’t work lmao, it’s 1:30am so I’m kinda out of it-

Anyways yeah I just recommend installing that modpack and see if it helps performance, the 1.19.4 version would give you the biggest fps boost I believe (and apparently that version does use starlight)

I don’t know how to install mod packs but I heard you use the curse forge app, idk

i dont use curse forge app, i had the modrinth app but it ran its own launcher and thats iffy imo

Pretty sure the modrith launcher is safe, also heard it’s open source

i know its safe, i made sure it was, but by iffy i mean its like

it seems to run worse, if that makes sense

                        like it doesnt even load
idk if its because of the modpack i was trying to use but yeah
