My idea is to sort stickfigures by type
For example: If you want to look at all your backgrounds, just click a drop down menu similar to the newest, oldest, and alphabetical drop down menu, and it will show all the backgrounds, this could start problems given it may show a stick figure on the objects setting, but I feel like the import a stick figure menu could be more organized

    • This is a good idea but would you have to sort all your old figs? I think you would have to chose a category after making a new statement but the old ones would just be out of a category

    • Name your figures properly. Such as:

      BG – Coffee shop
      BG – Snowy Mountains
      SNM – Character – Elena
      SNM – Character – Jackie

You can hide figures you don’t need to add often, such as backgrounds. You can also filter the list when you open the dropdown menu, so the feature is kinda there. You’ll just have to work organised yourself.

A messy stickfigure list, is a messy project from my experience.

me, who either puts everything in movieclips if needed or just has random figs lying around (i.e. a rounded segment labeled “line1” that i use as symbiote tentacles)

I just name my figures by putting their names then “WL_” before, not sure why I never thought of labeling them like that. Would make so many things easier.
