Chief Engineer giving the Eschaton Commander a tour of the new ships in the hangar:

CE: First up we have ES-Vortex, it has no weapons but is equipped with a portal gun and the holoshield our Bastions have.

C: Interesting, interesting. I assume your intentions are for pilots to avoid confrontation with the spacecraft.

CE: Correct. Next up, we have ES-Raider. This baby is the definition of a glass cannon; It’s small, it’s weak, but its 3 weapons can shred through other ships.

The commander just shrugged, and had nothing to say about this one.

CE: We’ve loaded every Corvette we’ve produced into Mobile Hangars, so I’ll show you it on my control center. (He walks over to a screen mounted to a podium, which is viewing the 3d model of the craft.)

C: This thing can 1v4 the Hell Federation’s corvettes, easily.

CE: That’s what we’re hoping for. Remember, they’re a lot more skilled than we are. We are lucky to keep beating them just by raw power.

CE: Now, for our final ship; the ES-Harbinger! This one is the first stealth ship we’ve produced, with blueprints of more in the making. It has a front-mounted laser which uses the same infrastructure as the Bastion’s front lasers. Then for the best part.. its ability to drop bombs in 2 separate channels! These bombs are 100 pounds each, so they pack quite a punch. They’ve been tested on a Bastion’s shield device, and it gets through it, and damages what is behind, in just 1 single bomb!

C: This is great. We’re all set to deploy the supporting squad, no?

CE: Just about.

Yoooo, that was really fun writing that. (/s). I’ll rip & tear through the remaining Hell Federacy ships in Arkania’s system, then pull all troops out. Anywhere else we are needed other than Armosnia and Wetiska?
