so, basically
all you need to know is i had an old xbox i made using my moms friends email, and recently he changed the password due to a new pc, locking me out, and refusing to let me in because he was worried it would change some stuff or something (???) cause its his work emailno big deal, got over it, made a new account, were all good here
until i decided to check on the account to see how many gamerpoints i had, and the last activity i remember playing was starfield, which was around 200 days ago or more
and then there was a bunch of forza stuff (i dont play forza) from 100 days ago or more to like 20-70 days agoso basically, instead of him making a new xbox account, he was using my old one
i get its his email and he can do whatever with it but still, isnt that kind of shitty because i had to make a new one?

well i mean, its his work email, and doing that would give us access to all of his stuff and he would lose access to all of it, from what i remember
Ah, so he already had a Microsoft account, which is what you added to the Xbox. I was thinking that you created a brand new Microsoft account using his email address at the time of adding the account to the Xbox.
Yeah, I don’t think there’s much he could have done in that case. Honestly, I don’t think it’s shitty at all for him to keep using the account considering the circumstances imo.
Only options he has is to give you access to his account, which also gives you access to all his work shit (and lets you become even more attached to the account), let the account sit untouched, or use it. He’s just choosing to not let it sit for no reason 🤷♂️
well i mean, the main thing is he thought just letting me keep using it on the xbox would mean forfeitting it, which isnt the case, its just like setting up an xbox using his account

20k gold points or whatever, but i think i had closer to 18 or 19k before he started using it

yeah, i mean its fine, sincei ts the same console i have all the games and stuff including bought ones
really the only bought games are portal 1 and 2, slime rancher, kerbal space pogram, and doom eternal dlcs
i can easily solo those gamse and then buy slime rancher and kerbal space back at some later point if my xbox disappears (dies)
besides, i still hold the 20k to my personal record
How long did bro let you use the account before deciding to lock you out? Cause letting you get 18k+ gamer score then locking you out is kinda crazy ngl
