im sorry but i don’t know what’s wrong here, the app isn’t doing this for anyone else so its something specific with your device, something regarding security maybe, any parental locks or the like?

Well, I can say that, yes I did grant it access, but my device is a Retroid Pocket Flip. It is an android gaming handheld, though its OS is still Android 11, just like my old phone, which had no problems saving projects. No restrictions or locks of any kind on it, since I bought and set it up myself.

that’s a strange device, i would assume there’s some kind of special storage shenanigans going on but can’t say what as im not familiar with it
maybe you can google around for storage/saving things in other apps with regards to that device and find some relevant things you can try
