All I’ll say is
From someone who used to be in that type of camp , it is unfortunately natural at this point to have those sort of views , though as a human being , grow and change. Being as many cultures indulge in these types of negative views
No matter what your background is , you’ll be happier yourself if you learn that others come other walks of life
You may not understand em , but as long as no harm comes towards them , you , or anyone , their life is just as valid as yours and other’s
While I won’t say to let go of your root beliefs , I will say
It is imperative that you make your own decisions and judgement
Do not see something as evil or wicked if others believe it to be. If you have problems with groups of people , that is not fine but you as a human are entitled to carry those thoughts within you , but you are far from free , from sharing those views (especially in negative ways)
But at the end of the day , learn to not hate or judge others for living a happy life
You probably know life isn’t easy and it’s unbearably hard to be happy at times , so do not rob others of theirs if it doesn’t affect you
Lesson learned

I hate the idea that negativity being tied to culture and religion makes it ok
No matter what , as a species , we need to grow into an open and positive world
We’re far too open as an entire planet to have these views , and so far holding animosity towards each other has done nothing but essentially make a world full of stress , poverty , and insecurity over if there will even be a tomorrow
I don’t care how tied to a god or your family a view is , it does no one good if it doesn’t either help you or others
Yes i have grown

in all seriousness though, really proud of you for accepting your previous mistakes and apologizing, not every asshole in here has the decency to do that.
