A man’s key to success isn’t necessarily wealth, status or what opportunities life gives you.
Only you can define what is a good opportunity, that’s what makes life interesting.
Among the years had I found myself lost, I wouldn’t know how to act or react. Many of the times I would be discouraging myself from trying any better since there were people so far better then me.
But it is with time that we learn how to move from our mistakes of the past. Maybe not fully solve them, but avoid them.
I no longer feel dread towards the future, I know what I want to do and what I need to do it.
Many sticknodians and people in general feel “demotivated” because of other users trashing on their work.
Note, we all started somewhere. 8 years ago I was in the same position you were, high ego, bad animator.
Don’t let some dickhead that can move nodes in a mobile app significantly better then you discourage you from trying.Use tween! Make your own effects!
Who cares? Improve however you’d like to.Build the future of your career to your desired shape, may not be smooth at first. The blood and tears will make it nice and round.
You will become fond of the hate you’ve received, of the arguments you’ve had, the projects you’ve put down.
You would wish you started being serious on the hobby before.
As for me, I have a plan ahead of me that needs execution. At the moment it’s going greatly. Simple words.
The end of the road is not the end of your journey.
Apologies for my yapping btw, felt emotional
Its kinda nuts how good you can get at this app if you just dedicate yourself to trying and moving forward, experimenting and improving after each failed attempt. I feel like this post kinda just says it how it is. You just have to keep your chin up.
Indeed! That’s really all it takes!
