I don’t know if it’s just me or not but when you set a trapezoid to a 0.01 top ratio of course you get what is basically a triangle with side gradient capabilities. The issue is for whatever reason the gradient casts from the bottom left corner with the 2nd part of the gradient on the upper right and lower right.

I imagine it’s because the gradient point at the top would basically touch and create too solid colours next to each other but mainly since it’s a trapezoid it’s not naturally meant to be triangular.

In any case we probably need side gradient triangles in a future update considering this.

Below is an example of what I mean, the left ‘ triangle ‘ works because the gradient is cast from the lower left out but the right triangle still having the gradient casted from the lower left means it doesn’t work, the appearance doesn’t match.

@ralph may we please have sideway gradients in a future update? ideally an up-coming one..

    • Elipses would totally get the biggest buff thru side gradients

    • trapezoids are completely redone in 4.2.0, its been done for month(s) lmao but i got sidetracked with a second part of this major update

but yeah, trapezoids are much much much (did i say much) more robust
      coming soon TM

yeah, they will basically be the go-to segment shape now, since they are basically normal segments but with complete control over both endpoint thicknesses, rounded on one or each side, curveable, and sideways gradient (thus allowing for rounded-tip, sideways-gradient triangles if anyone so wishes)

stick nodes 4.2.0 update leak you heard it here first

it was originally going to be 4/20 for 4.2.0 but
              yeah
so lets just say things got out of hand
              and still are

That sounds OP, I imagine Jack and people with more of a cartoony style are absolutely going to go ham with that, 50 Nodes a Stickfigure with current Jackfly quality type of deal, that’s crazy.
