I had a horse that fell in water with me on it about 50 70 blocks away from my house, and then he freaking teleported all the way up to the side of my house but was in the ground so he suffocated and died, I tried to save him but his hotrod made it to where if I tried to break the blocks it would just hurt him, now there’s a gravestone by my county road. R.I.P. lil buddy, teleported me outta danger and sacrificed himself.

I accidentally killed my minecraft dog that was named after my dog.. 4 days after my dog died.
That was the moment that broke me. The last straw. I named the minecraft dog 2 years before that day (yes that thing made it 2 years), and loved “training” it against mobs. I did a similar thing & made a gravestone in the forest, in the patch where I found the untamed wolf. Some of its friends in the same patch are still scattered across my world in different houses.

It happened at night when I was exploring a forest, then it found a skeleton. Dog was already dangerously low on health, and I was trying to rush back home to heal it up (I ran out of food). So, as the skeleton charged up its arrow at my dog (would have killed it) I jumped at it with my iron sword, attempting to save my dog. But.. I missed. I hit my dog, killing it instantly. I didn’t know how much I cared about a bunch of code until that day. It was kind of all that was left of my real dog.

Its legacy will always live on.

Dang bro, I’m sorry for your loss, I’ve lost dogs and cats in mc before but that’s just… horrible.
