this is one instance of gigan being calm and actually trying to help, kind of(mostly us, not the new users)

I can’t speak for the person who flagged it since it wasn’t my judgement. However, from a quick look, the flags seem justified. Sending someone a link in response to their post is unnecessary and can be seen as escalating or vigilantism. (A link that heavily implies something)
Y’all cant just be riling users up constantly by responding negative or “ratio-ing”.
You may have your reasons for disliking a user, but you shouldn’t harass them continually. If a user does something that you believe deserves a flag, tag a moderator instead. The more drama there is, the more difficult it becomes for us moderators to manage the situation.
If you seek drama and confrontations, it will happen.
Because everyone is taking everything in their own hands, nothing will actually get done.
Either tag a moderator or move on. Most people luckily know how to do this.

yes, some other users that have been here for longer have been escalating like me and gigan for example (sorry gigan)

not too long ago i jokingly asked that wiillybear kid if i could be a admin in his group and he called me a bitch
its starting to get out of hand, do you not remember all of the drama and annoyance with python? or the stuff with idkanims? or oxxy? or alien dude? every new user that comes here is a coin toss, heads being some respectable users like lemon and gigan, and tails being abundant annoyances and for some reason, someone keeps catching the coin so it lands on tails
i see how gigans behavior may have been provoking, but i doubt he had any intention to start anything

None of this gives you the right to keep bothering the new users. If something is against the rules, it will get flagged: simple as that. The only reason new users seem annoying to you is that you choose to involve yourself with them constantly. Remember, some of them are young teenagers and might say dumb things. If you know someone is younger and still can’t scroll past a comment or tag a moderator, that’s on you.
If they say something inappropriate, it will be flagged. However, if there’s constant drama, we mods cannot read every single post to find flag-worthy comments

Looking from an overall view, it seems that response was motivated by the constant negative comments he gets.
It’s a reason for his behaviour, but not a justification since you did nothing. The same rules apply to this guy. If he keeps doing things like this, he’ll get flagged and possibly warned.👍
