Here’s an update on the 2026 ram.

I’ve decided to make the door latches like gas cap door things, where if you press on the door with about half a pound of pressure, it’ll unlatch so you can open it the rest of the way, like a normal door. And if it’s locked, the it won’t pop open if tpyou press on it.

This significantly improves the exterior design IMO, it’s more aerodynamic looking and probably lowers the drag-coefficient for better MPG, which already suffers in a land yacht like this.

I am trying to make this like like a mix between the 2nd gen ram, the current ram, and a 2016 ram, so 2 door, extended cab, and 4 door options would be available in all ram trim levels. In my story this would be the last ram generation do to government emissions regulations. (These would be void after the war)

These trucks would go on to be known as the 20s best truck, for the engines reliability, the transmissions ability to pull an insane amount of weight, and still last a long time and the interiors comfortability. The biggest issue with these trucks however, is the OEM wheels are prone to breaking during long hauls.

by 2060, only a quarter of the trucks manufactured still roam American and Canadian roads, because of there age.
