This comedy bit is funny, but got me thinking. It is INCREDIBLE to me that we either have the status of God, or we’re completely worthless and insignificant all for the sole purpose of evading the one true God that has a certain standard that He wants us to meet. “Oh no, we have rules to follow! Oh dear, we have to fight against our desires! I would rather believe a lie or not give two craps about what the truth is than follow rules and not do/get/have what I want!” We’re a big bunch of children who despise rules more than we care about our lives and wellbeings. We’ve become the Veruca Salt of worldviews, saying, “Daddy, I want to be God! Get me one of those Godhoods right now!” and it’s sickening!
P.S. I say “we” which does also include some Christians *cough* Kenneth Copeland *cough* who believe that they are “little ‘g’ gods”, but moreover, it includes all humans who are tempted with being elevated to Godhood, which includes me and you and everyone else on the planet.

Whoever uploaded this video decided to click bait on the level of 5-minute Crafts, but ignore that. I believe everything in this video is true. I do all of this, yes, in hopes of converting some, but more abundantly, because I’m addicted to Him. He is my drug of choice, and there isn’t a huge crash afterwards.

This is very interesting! Now, I’d need to study the validity of this for myself, but there is so much of Jesus’s ministry that we don’t know about because the gospels are only snapshots, not accounting for every second, so this could be possible. My immediate reaction is to be a little skeptical about this, but not cynical to where it objectively cannot be true and anyone who believes that it’s true will burn in hell.

Hmm, I’m not entirely sure why, but whether something that’s wrong in God’s eyes should be legal or not is not something that I’ve put a lot of thought into. Maybe I should look deeper into this.
