Dragon Ball Daima is gonna blow ass because even thought the premise *could* work – (like GT: the idea of Goku being a kid, weaker, and generally a more light-hearted tone in order to imitate OG Dragon Ball) – it will suffer from not invoking any nostalgia of the “kid Goku” era…because DBS has that bullshit modern, bubbly, over-produced aesthetic, vs the truly nostalgic original DBZ look.
“Sir, this is a Wendy’s”

not sure how im feeling about this adaptation of sonic…
dude
why do you want animators that haven’t seen their family in a month to revert to something not only more time-consuming, but overall just impractical
m8 im saying go back to hand-drawn, cel animation
but you can imitate it easily
with
t e c h n o l o g y
as well as just generally get the characters back on model: sharper features, thicker/deeper outlines with more muscle shadows, less bulging eyes and goofy faces, etc
Counter argument: You can barely re-create the art style in cell shading, and it loses its charm
also daima is shifting back to toriyamas/toyotarus artstyle so
if it does actually shift back, then that’s great
toriyamas/toyotarus artstyle
that’s what i mean, the style
the colors
the facial structure
the outlines, the muscles, the general character models
this is all able to done outside of traditional animation
new DBS looks like a cartoon
Ralph speak english please, i actually take daily showers.
kill la kill better sadly
All looks like ass
arent you mexican i thought mexicans praised dragon ball
