I guess just that gun hit on the zombie like 4 seconds in looks a tad odd with how the zombie went down immediately even though the dude didn’t seem to have much force behind the hit
one thing to coincide with what gigan is saying
something you could do that might look good is to animate at 30 fps, but just double frame
and then for stuff like punches or hits, animate it single frame so it looks faster, along with a bigger windup/charge
when animated at 30 fps and double framed, it looks half the speed, or like 15fps

something yo
That’s actually a really interesting technique. I went ahead and tried it (Simply made a double of each frame) and went back and deleted a select few (Mostly the aforementioned butt-stock hit and Rifle shots) and it turned out surprisingly good.
There’s definitely still some touch-ups with the speed I need to do but a test anim is always for experimenting. I’ll have to work on the anticipation and force of impact in future anims.

Other than that you’re doing good

I might use this more often, thank you!
yeah, its something ive picked up on in the last few months
i guess it also helps for gun shot effects too which is a nice plus
looks great!
The bite could be a bit more drawn out, especially since he gets downed by it . Great anim btw
