its literally like a super brave job that takes a lot of courage
not on the level of military jobs but like
imagine raising this puppy for years and then having to send them off to a forever home
especially if that puppy has a foster sibling
you raise them and they see you as their mom/dad and then… you just send them off one day
they end up forgetting im sure once they go to their new foster home, but still
thats so sad to see
i could never foster
id just take that puppy and keep it orever

I would struggle working with animals for reasons like this
you can get such a strong bond with animals imagine seeing them go away knowing you won’t see them again
I think the hardest for me would be a rescue center or shelter
that would be so fucking sad oh my god
