10th Anniversary

Hey, niche internet site! I didn’t think I’d get a log on such a big day, really. It’s a bit daunting to have to approach this, because I came in on the tail end of this. I have the journalistic responsibility to write a decent paragraph about this community on such an important day, so I’ll do my best to give us the credit we deserve. Christ, what a place. We’ve been through a lot, and I’m actually proud to be a member of this community. Through the thick and thin, better and worse, we’ve remained our little piece of niche internet history. I know a lot of us have made connections through this place. Near lifelong friendships, especially since this app is now older than most of the people who use it. Personally, I wouldn’t be the same person. Not without some of the amazing people I’ve met here. The laughs, the stories. The emotions, the friendships. I can imagine Ralph never could predict what people would do with what he made. A place of creative expression, of art, of music! Of amazing people with amazing minds! This day is to us! To all we’ve seen and done. To all we will survive. To all we’ve yet to do. The future is bright! Hell, it’s the weekend. Perfect timing for a birthday. Happy anniversary, you sorry bastards. Here’s to another decade!
