Most overrated anime?
Honestly if it weren’t for the Fans, MHA would’ve been a good Anime.
Ending was shit, they hyped Deku up to being the next All Might and instead, he got some busted ass haircut and he teaches the next generation (that we will never see ngl), keep in mind Deku saved the people on multiple occasions but instead some dude with a mid ass quirk is more popular than him
MHA is kinda OKAY at best, it doesn’t gear to certain audiences but, it’s an alright watch.
That is true, I only found about the ending because there was a meme about Deku working at McDonald’s that was going on.

fandom really only applies to media when the fandom itself starts to have an affect on the media. MHA isnt good even without its fandom, but its fandom does gear me to drive away from openly interacting with it. a good example of fandom bleeding into media and ultimately making it kinda worse for me is deltarune, so far. you can tell that chapter 2 was highly geared towards the fandom with its very specific quirkiness and while i dont hate it, it lessens that natural enjoyment i got from undertale and chapter 1
mha was, decent, i think, i dont know
i ended up losing interest somewhere near season 6 and i just stopped watching at 7
the vigilante deku arc was cool, though, i dont know
i liked the way he looked and it was interesting but i guess it just got more boring
i do like the premise and the characters of mha, i think im just endlessly bored lol
I still watch the new episodes in the new season I wanna finish the entire MHA series since it’s close to ending.
i think that the way theyre ending it though from what i heard is stupid
i get what theyre trying to do, a huge sacrifice to make way for a new generation

We aren’t getting that new generation, MHA’s ending is bad and I don’t think anyone would want to see the next generation after that lame excuse of an ending, I prefer JJK over MHA and one of the reasons is because they are actually setting up a way better ending than MHA
Overrated is such a stupid term, just say that you don’t like a piece of media as much as other people might.
It’s not as if they hype it up for no reason; they genuinely enjoy the works that they consume, so why WOULDN’T they speak about it so positively? You don’t need to put down other people’s interest just to say that you didn’t like it that much. I swear, this discourse has been dogged by dumb terms like this for too long

i’d never recommend DBZ to anyone
it’s purely nostalgia that keeps it going tbh
i love it and i love toriyama, but the plot and characters are about as 1 dimensional as you can fathom
yeah, i wanted to get into watching dragon ball because i was very fond of it and its characters, but trying to start it from z just got really boring to be honest
id rather watch a recap and do some reading on the lore of z itself so im not missing anything, but im also still able to enjoy it
I’m a huge fan of DBZ but that’s overrated tbh its a peak anime but its overrated
