• @ralph I love to annoy you , anyways on the bug I reported not even 3 seconds ago
It seems to be an issue related to joined figures/movieclips only ?

First 2 images are flipping Adira’s arm whilst it’s connected to her torso while the 3rd and 4th are flipping the arm without it being connected , works perfectly fine on the latter 2 photos

its not a bug its a feature (unironically)

usually its helpful, when you “flip x” it takes into account what its joined too
usually for example its like, a limb, or a weapon/item being held, etc
and it flips in a very logical way, not just “left and right” when the thing its attached to is angled, example of flipping the blue arm over the body:

in the case of the mouth tho, its joined to some random invisible segment so it flips over its axis resulting in what looks to be a weird flip

may add a toggle for this but i mean tbh, no matter how anything flips, it always requires adjustment afterward to place it right so it aint the end of the world i guess

tl;dr might add toggle for legacy flip

            But yea

Anytime timeline on when a legacy toggle could be added ? I’m not expecting anything too close since you overshot the initial update drop by 5 months but just curious

Do think that this isn’t even much of a “people nagging on old features” situation like with Ui changes , moreso that for a ton of people these buttons worked more conviently
I do understand there’s use cases for the update flips but personally, as do other users here , we’ve usually been in situations where legacy was overall the tool that we needed in such moments

            _____

Overall the change does affect me a ton (I save no nodes therefore I must join 50 figures to make one complete grain of sand)

i’ll add it soon for you
likely 4.2.3 which is just gonna be minor things
week or two, waiting to see if any bugs pop up

i think for 4.3.0 you should do a gradient update that adds transparent gradients and triangle gradients
and also half-circle gradients so that you can have a 2 color sphere unless that already exists

A toggle for legacy would be good, it’s always nice to have a choice between local and global translation

usually what i do is i flip it both ways if its a limb like an arm and then i flip the forearm on the up and down axis so that it produces a similar result

Maybe I’m just not versed enough to know in what situation this would necessarily be useful in but I’m confused on what this really was for
Cause even like in this case , flipping the gun to point to the other side

Now it just points down , and yea it’s an easy adjustment but still a tad annoying

please add legacy flipping toggle, this isnt what people generally want when doing axis flipping. does it make sense, yes, but it also is just going to generally be more annoying than the few times its a neat feature

while ive got you here, sideways gradients for triangles please
