It’s not the “Pointless” part, it’s just that, why would you pair another Country’s Sabre with another Country’s Officer?
So, you know how WW2 Imperial Japan’s armament was just foreign weapons adapted to shoot their own cartridge?
Maybe that’s the same basis, The original model of the sabre is from Cetus, but Corvus stole the design and tweaked it to better suit their military.
