I think I’ve said this before, but the background section is kind of dead. Well not really but most of the skilled background makers have either disappeared or stopped making them. I’ve noticed that most people use sprites these days, and I’m wondering where you all are getting the backgrounds not gon lie maybe itsnjust pintrest or sum

Stopping backgrounds from existing???

I’ve been wanting to make more backgrounds, but yeah, as you’re saying, it feels like most people use sprites now and that making them would be a waste of time
Yeah, honestly, the only thing I’m thinking of is making some S’s to fit around my character style, maybe, but overall, you can just go into editing software. If the background has a lot of stuff on it, cut around the background and layer it, and you’re golden. It is super cool but definitely killed that part of making stks at least for public use.

You just reminded me of a background CB drew that I was gonna make in SN.
I’d love to tap into background but stylistically I’d have to figure that out not to mention get through whatever I need to do atm. I figure most skilled background creators probably just got busy like many people here plus backgrounds were always kinda low-key anyway. So now they’re basically non-existent.
Plus yeah sprites would be a big contribution towards that.
