I like Anime because unlike most western cartoons they don’t have to be comedic. Western action shows died back in 2012-2013, because toy sales were just so inconsistent and unprofitable, but in Japan, TV isn’t so reliant on pushing for ads. This allows anime to be what it wants, so alot of action shows are made. I grew up watching action shows, ya’know the ones; Avatar, Teen Titans, Justice league, Young Justice, Sybionic Titan and soo much more. So with Young Justice being the last good western action show, by the time I was 11 I got into anime. (I’m 13 btw) Now, my dad had a small anime collection, mostly composed of all the Hellsing episodes, but my first anime was suprise suprise, Naruto. When I first saw it, my brother was watching it and it was the bridge arc, I didn’t get it at the time and didn’t stick around to watch much, a few days later my brother is at the beginning of the chunin exams arc and I stuck around and really fell in love with it. My favorite character was Rock Lee (As stated in my old Rock Lee stickfig) and I watched it all until the end of the Pain arc, where I kinda got tired with shippuden and played the games instead. The next anime I got into was My Hero Academia (Or Boko No Hero Academia if you’re annoying) and I’m still waiting on ep. 5 for season 3. Anyway I got WAYYYY off track, what I’m saying is, anime is OK and it’s not lame to like it anymore. I could’ve said that way sooner but I guess I like talking about myself.
