Two words: Food Poisoning.
It’s the kinda thing nobody ever cares to check (for obvious reasons) and one they dont expect you to go to the doctor for.
Just walk into your job and say something along the lines of:
“Yeah i had some horrible food last night, my stomach feels like a volcano”
If they dont inmediatly send you home, make sure you go the bathroom VERY frequently, every 5 or 6 minutes, if you do this enough times, the managers will soon realize you’re about as useful as a sitting duck, and may or may not send you home. If not, then atleast you’ll have a full days pay for sitting on the toilet for 5 hours.
It depends but if they would berate you and usher you on to work when you can’t because of your well-being, illness or not than you might need the same harsh approach and if you call in sick, leave it at that. That or you can just let them know in advance you can’t close, then open realistically.
Keep it simple, I tried to be nice and understanding before for a similar situation and they still had me go in anyway when I could’ve just ghosted them and let it be because I felt like crap. That’s also why some jobs are great and some bad, it kind of comes down to the people, especially the ones in charge.

“sup boss, you’re next”
* walk by while putting latex gloves on *
“They told me the surprise prostate exam is supposed to begin in a minute”
“Sorry boss, corporate’s orders.”
