On the first day this started I @ralph in a thread, theres a couple figures that should be deleted and I will be making a google doc containing a LOT more.
He reposded to this and deleted ONE of the two I mentioned.
Next morning I finished and uploaded the google doc and @ him on twitter over this.
I’ve been ignored for a couple days.
Thats a couple days too long, minors should not be exposed to pornographic material.

These uploads, regardless of intention are harmful. Ralph is ALWAYS turning a blind eye to this shit.
When ThiccNodes was a thing and people was uploading porn into a private group, everyone knew that was happening, Ralph did nothing to stop it until public backlash.
I’m positive some of the nsfw uploads was innocent and intending no harm, like Red uploaded a fakeout nsfw. Great guy.
But Ralph is old enough to know ANY OF THIS shouldn’t be here.
It took public backlash for him to bad a porn group from the site, 7 years later you’d think he would learn to take this seriously.

As serious as this stuff is, I don’t think Ralph has the time to do too much of a deep dive into this stuff and the doc as of right now due to some recent life developments I won’t elaborate on. I’ve asked for a recent spotlight to be removed as well for similar-ish reasons (directly in the beta server) and so far it’s been ignored.
I found the link to the doc and we’ll discuss it, but before doing anything hasty like this you probably could’ve just asked Arc or other staff so we can look through the issue and get it up the chain. As of right now, we’re going to look into it and see what we can do. I’m not sure if other admins can remove figures directly from the site, but if they can, we’ll discuss it and see what we can do about some of the figures listed there.
If there are also any posts that also violate the rules, since the doc seems to only have figures, you can just @ any moderator here to flag them. I wouldn’t recommend trying to dig through old posts just to find a reason to get rid of them though, most of the common offenders (e.g. Epitaph) are already gone.
While the reasoning is benevolent, personally I think you should’ve asked other staff beforehand before turning this into an announcement or a major issue, makes things less difficult overall. Thanks for the heads up though, we’ll check it out.
Respectfully, I have @ ralph on twitter and bring this up with him. He’s clearly already seen it and it shouldn’t take much more than that to just look into it, or even just say “I will look into it eventually” instead of flat out ignoring after.
I understand he may be busy, and have things going on. But he can at least say “I’ll look at it eventually.”
People have brought up a few of these figures in the past multiple times to him only for it to be ignored. Even you said he’d ignore it.

If I see a post I’ll sure @ it. But I’m not going to go digging into years past posts for bad content, because it simply isnt worth it.

Honestly the whole thing with doc went under the radar for me. Though as for some of the figures initially existing… Well it’s just Ralph having a “lol” I guess? Idk haven’t looked at the doc yet, but that’s the most common reason.

I think as time goes on Ralph has stopped being less active on the site and twitter in general, he also just doesn’t like looking at DMs on the site or just anything. Probably because he gets so many.
It is a shame though that stuff like this still continues to be spread in the stick nodes community, especially with so many minors apart of said community

We’ve already discussed this at length in DMs, but i may as well add my two cents where it’s relevant. A number of these figures were made a little over half a decade ago. We were all very different people back then, certainly more accepting of degeneracy. Thicc Nodes was still in its prime (ie: I was actively and exclusively shit-posting in there instead of joining in the degeneracy, therefor it was the only era deemable as “good”) when most of these were made and a great many of them are very clearly (for lack of a better term) “relics” of their time. But as you’ve said, both to me privately and to Outlaw on this very post, they serve as a nasty stain on the sight regardless of the “artistic” intention.
I’m not going to sit here and pretend that my very own “Most Nude Figure” and “Slightly Less Nude Figure” aren’t reaction bait. But people who aren’t willing take or rather are not willing to risk them being bait are not going to know that. They’re going to see it and believe it is what it says it is on the tin, so they should go away alongside the problem uploads.
If i’m being honest, even though they make up most of this list, Epitaph’s figures in your document were always outliers even by his own standards. But we obviously can’t just pretend like he didn’t make some pretty damn good figures (for the time) otherwise.
This problem goes so much further past his influence on the community anyway. The centipedes (all of them) were *always* the worst of the worst and there was never *not* somebody begging for them to get removed with little to no luck actually getting them taken down, which was always infuriating.
Yeah its crazy how accepted this was back then. I was just turned 14 when I entered the site and one of my first influences was Epitaph and ThiccNodes.
I dabbled in that group for a month or 2 before just abandoning it.

I hate to say it yeah, those figures are pretty well made for the time, damn good.
I believe in praise the art not the artist, some figs, namely Standly, is well made. But it must be deleted, it has no place here.
Centipedes are definitely the worst. I cant even look at the Ben 10 one.
for the clickbait figs, I’ll remove yours and Epitapths. The rest I’ll keep on hold, though the authors can simply just @ if they wish to have shits taken down. Idk nobody asking for dat.
I agree with this kind of sentiment as well. A lot of these figures are years old and were during the times when this community was too “innocent” in a sense, allowing them to prosper. Everyone used to be fine with it because people thought it was just funny or somethings similar. It took until Epitaph’s ban to realize that this kind of stuff shouldn’t be here and it was pretty much a lesson to be learned for the community from there onwards.
I remember when I was investigating the Thicc Nodes stuff and found it insane when he just casually dropped in the description of the group that was basically asking for that stuff. Absolutely sickening.
Times have now changed though, while it could be debatable if it was “for the worse” or “for the better”, I think we can all agree that this kind of stuff finally getting repercussions on the site is good for the community overall.
