The scientists had left for the weekend. They returned to work on Monday, excited to see what’s going on with the flesh. They should have burned it when they found it. They returned to find the entire lab room covered in a fleshy layer, the same texture that the pile they found had. The test vault had smashed open, it breached containment. Spores must have been filling the room for the past few days as they instantly started coughing like hell. they were disgusted, yet… fascinated.. but before they could leave, something noticed them. Something big. One scientist was almost instantly phased to the ground, as the other ran away. His arm was ripped of, and he was being pushed into the flesh, letting tons of tentacles climb into his mouth, he was too far gone, before being stabbed in the back of his head with a large spiky arm. The other scientist didn’t get away and was dragged into the room, adding to the biomass.
