Replying to:Lawyer!?℠haha, no.
do people really think that?
I mean.
Most admins I met usually are laid back, relaxed. Kinda like TastyLemon, I see why the owner of the site trust him.
And you sort of fit the bill. A lot of the site members are usually new, like me. And giving mods to random people seems sketchy.
But again. You strike me as responsible and not biased.

you’re very kind.
right now, i’m okay with just notifying and working with mods when absolutely necessary.
case in point: dealing with Ficto
maybe someday, though.
just not anytime soon, not unless they’ll have me.
Something something with great power comes great responsibility.
What I mean by that the 2014 website code makes admin not only just “lol ban this guy”. Admin role apparently gave me access to nuke the /stickfigure/, make everyone Admin with click of a button, see people’s emails and ip’s (not passwords, but can reset them) and bunch of other over the top crap.
Imagine my reaction getting these powers before moderator roles existed.
Bit of a nitpick, but making new admin won’t solve “any drama” lmao. It mainly just adds more people to react to a situation… or create more opportunities for one. Anyhow I don’t remember, but did @ralph finally add option for moderators to make temp bans yet or…
The solution to prevent this type of thing is to give moderators the ability to temp ban/mute accounts. I’m not sure if we need another moderator or not, but just giving them this small power could solve a lot. That, or giving Lemon admin, but as Arc said above, that’s a pretty big role to give out.
haha… Admin??
i’d take Mod.
i’d run for Mod.
i mean, i probably won’t become a Mod, but it would be cool.
I thought these two meant the same?
Regardless, seems this Corey guy is trying to make “something out of himself”. Only to be just yesterday’s news.
I wouldn’t go that far.
He’s open about openly being a nuisance.
There’s nothing for him to prove, he’s just a ban-evading kid.

Agreed

I ain’t Ficto, I’m Corey, or am I…
They need to make me admin. I promise I’d be the best, most sane admin who would NEVER abuse his power.
Oh yeah.
Or the Warlock guy. But you’re actually funny. Not like certain people here who tries to be “funny” but end up cringe.
I just do what I do best.

wheres the button
Huh.
So you CAN see people ips.
Interesting.
I mean, when you join a site, the server always gets the ip of yours. Admin is like… just a shortcut for convenience lol.
Fascinating.
